We have an issue that settings.json file will not be uploaded to the metrological distribution network. We were updating the app & platform settings using settings.json file, but that file will not be uploaded to the metrological distribution network.
So we are trying to use Settings plugin to do the same, but we came to know from the documentation that it can only update user settings.
Our main concern is router settings which we configured in settings.json under platform settings.
Can you suggest a way to update the app & platform settings dynamically?

I believe the best course of action is to ask your Metrological representative about this. But usually, platform settings will not be changed on an app basis. So you’ll have to stick to whatever platform settings the partner you’re intending to release to has.
For example, Comcast requieres all their code to be ES6 compliant. So even if you expected your app to be released on ES5, that won’t simply happen.
I know it’s not much help, but there really isn’t much that can be done, assuming you’re going through launching your app through Metrological’s marketplace.
