I’ll start a LightningJS application with a Happy path (login, home, menu, video player) just for Samsung, what could be better? Solid or Blits?
Hi @trdodriguez30, LightningJS has officially chosen Blits as its preferred framework for building Lightning based Apps. Solid is no longer supported by the LightningJS team and is no longer part of the main GH org.
If you’re starting with an App now, we definitely recommend using Blits. It’s the framework that is built specifically for Lightning and comes with batteries included for building a successful TV app.
We’ve measured up to 20% lower memory usage when using Blits and has all kinds of optimisations and guard rails that help prevent common pitfalls and get you more performance out of the box.
